My name is Ruie and I live in Manila. I am a hobbyist street photographer. My inspiration in street photography started during my high school years where I have to ride jeepneys and walk to school everyday. I was always fascinated with how the streets look like, with what the people are doing or even thinking. Growing up in the streets of Manila, made me appreciate and see more of the current status of the city.
Never lose the plot - my mantra when taking photos. It's not just about capturing stories, it is also making myself remember that the streets I am taking photos of have a bigger picture to look at.
